Another Positive Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Review
Yet another positive, or at least semi-positive, review of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, this time from the Disembodied Brain sci-fi weblog. While the review notes that this is the best film of the second trilogy, that is almost damning with faint praise.
Still my optimism is growing about this one, from the sound of things the action scenes (always Star Wars strength) are well worth watch and there are some genuinely good performances again from Ewan McGregor and Ian McDiarmid amongst others.
The special effects are of course awe inspiring, but that at least I never doubted. The biggest problem raised in this review is the performance of Hayden Christensen who is described as alternately glowering and smirking. Considering Christensen’s bratty performance as Anakin was my biggest annoyance with the second film, thats not so encouraging.
