It seems that the Doctor Who spin off series Torchwood which will star John Barrowman in his role as Captain Jack Harkness has already run into some problems. Filming on Torchwood was planned to begin this January, but has been delayed.

It looks as though the WB have found their Aquaman. Will Toale, a 28 year old newcomer has been picked to star in the new series Aquaman which is being created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) according to a report in Variety.

The SciFi Channel has a new mini-series that it will air in March 2006. SciFi has had a remarkably high success rate with their original mini-series. Considerably more so than it has had with its other original movies or series. As part of their plans for an online video marketplace, Google have announced a deal with CBS that will include the Paramount shows Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. The Star Trek series will be made available as part of Google Video which is a platform to enable the publishing of video over the internet.
