The crew begins work on a brand new fighter nick-named The Blackbird. Meanwhile Boomer tells Adama that the Galactica has been re-infected by the Cylon computer virus. The virus is tampering with the ship’s basic functions looking for weaknesses. The virus is also sending out a signal to the Cyclon Raiders and an assault is imminent. Adama has to decide wether or not Boomer can be trusted.

Notes

The name of this episode may be a reference to President Roslin’s pending death due to her cancer. The name of the new Viper which the crew builds is Laura in honor of the President. In this episode Laura is informed she only has a month to live.
