This episode featured scenes with both Boxey and Ellen Tigh, but they were cut due to time.

The episode is somewhat based on original series two-parter Lost Planet of the Gods which introduced the mysteries of Kobol.

Starbuck learns Adama does not know where the location of Earth is.
