With Adama out of comission, Colonel Tigh must take command of the Galactica. During an emergency jump the fleet becomes separated from the Galactica. Boomer is in jail after shooting Adama and now everyone knows that she is a Cylon. Meanwhile back on Caprica the other Boomer takes off with Starbuck’s Cylon raider.

Notes
Battlestar Galactica got a new opening intro for season 2. The intro was shortened and the drums were dropped. The theme song was also changed to the version which had been used in the UK for season one.

Also new is a text added to the credits. “47,875 survivors… In search of a home… Called Earth.” In a particularly nice touch, while the text stays the same the number of survivors is reduced with each death.
