Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance Online Prequel Season
As part of the promotion for the soon to premiere Battlestar Galactica Season 3, the SciFi Channel has planned a special prequel season to be broadcast online in 10 episodes over the course of 5 weeks. The special season will be called Battlestar Galactica The Resistance.
The first two episodes of Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance are already available at SciFi’s website and new episodes will be available every Tuesday and Thursday and midnight leading up to the October 6th premiere of the show.
The Resistance will show the days following the events of the season 2 finale where New Caprica was occupied by the Cylons. Saul Tigh and Chief Tyrol organize and insurgency while the Cylons mount a campaign of peaceful co-existence (by eliminating anyone who resists). Two former members of the Galactica fleet and life long friends Jammer (Dominic Zaprogna) and Duck (Tucker Clellan) have to decide whether they should resist or collaborate.
