Blade: The Series WizardWorld Trailer
Spike TV showed off a trailer for their upcoming Blade TV series at WizardWorld last weekend. Spike are pushing this show pretty heavily and apparently were handing out DVDs with the trailer on them as part of their promotion.
But you don’t have to go hunting around for one of those DVDs as Kung Fu Rodeo have helpfuly posted the trailer (in windows media format) for you to watch.
I watched it and was moderately impressed. It is pretty cliched stuff and some of the actors seem to over-emote quite painfully. But keeping in mind the movie source material I can certainly see a lot of that same style in this trailer.
I’m not expecting anything too revolutionary but it might be able to find its own niche in the way that Highlander: The Series managed to. I’ll certainly give it a shot when the show premieres on Spike TV on June 28th.
