Canadian Producer Lobbies Paramount for Trek United
Canadian producer Al Vinci has apparently been talking to a Paramount executive about reviving Star Trek: Enterprise for a fifth season at least according to claims by Trek United. Paramount still insists that it hasn’t talked to anyone on the subject. At this point no one seems to have been able to independently verify Trek United or Al Vinci’s claims.
Things have gotten a little murkier as Tim Brazeal, leader of Trek United recently admitted to having a criminal background on Trek United’s own message boards. He admitted to being convicted for auto-theft for an incident in 1983 and an arrest in 1979 for marijuana posession but says that he has been in no trouble since then.
Trek United has raised $3.14 million in pledges and contributions from fans so far. They have said that money will be returned minus some handling fees to cover bank expenses if the show does not return.
