Captain Ameica has appeared in various other media over the years since his creation. What follows is a brief (and not neccessarily comprehensive) list of those appearances. If you are aware of any other Captain America appearances, please let me know using the comment form.

Animation

• Marvel Super-Heroes - 1966: Included Captain America segments as well as Thor, Iron Man and Hulk. The animation in this series was very basic, primarily being stills of Jack Kirby’s art. The show adapted many of the original Marvel Comics stories
• Spider-Man: The Animated Series - 1994 to 1997: Captain America appeared in a handful of episodes of this series. His first appearance was a cameo in Season 4 episodes 43 but he later appeared in the Six Forgotten Warriors and Secret Wars stories.
• X-Men - 1992 to 1994: Captain America appears in flashbacks in one episode where he works with Wolverine to rescue a scientist from the Nazis.
• Avengers: United They Stand - 1999 to 2000: In the episode Command Decision Captain America appears in a flashback showing him defeating Baron Zemo.
• X-Men: Evolution - 200 to 2003: In the episode Operation Rebirth we see another flashback where Captain America gets his powers during World War II and he works with Logan to liberate a concentration camp where one prisoner is a boy name Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto).
• Ultimate Avengers DVD - 2006: The Ultimate version of Captain America features heavily in this direct to DVD animated feature which also features the rest of the Ultimates.

Books

• The Great Gold Steal by Ted White - 1968: Presented an alternate version of Captain America where Rogers bones are plated with stainless steel.
• Captain America: Liberty’s Torch by Tony Isabella and Bob Ingersoll - 1998: Put the Captain on trial by a hostile militia group for America’s supposed crimes.

• Captain America and the Avengers - 1991: The Captain is one of four playable characters
