Crispin Glover May Play Joker in Batman Begins 2
A post at the Legions of Gotham fan forum sites an anonymous source who claims that actor Crispin Glover is being serious considered to play the Joker in the sequel to Batman Begins. Obviously this is an unconfirmed rumor from only a single source right now. Also remember that even if Glover is under consideration, that doesn’t mean he will end up being cast. Things are rarely that clear cut in the movie world.
That said Crispin Glover would be a very interesting choice to play the Joker. If he was to lean say towards the direction he took his character in Willard then his Joker could be a very dark and creepy character indeed.
I know a lot of people really liked Jack Nicholson’s Joker but to me it was too much Jack and not enough Joker. At his best the Joker isn’t just an evil prankster. He’s twisted and chilling. He is completely insane and thats not something I got from the Nicholson Joker.
