Dark Shadows Audio Dramas From Big Finish
Big Finish, who have had great success with their series of Doctor Who audio dramas (and also some Sapphire and Steel ones too) have their eyes set on a new genre series. Dark Shadows, the Gothic soap-opera with a cult following.
It seems they will be using a format similar to their Doctor Who release with each CD containing four episodes that make up one complete story. The initial release will be of 4 stories in November 2006, but I’m sure that if the demand is there, more will follow. The timing is not co-incidental as we are approaching the 40th anniversary of the Dark Shadows series.
I have listened to and enjoyed several of the Big Finish Doctor Who audios and was particularly impressed by the quality of the voice acting and the overall production. Big Finish have shown themselves very capable of handling beloved franchises so if you are a Dark Shadows fan, you should definitely check this one out.
