Daydreams Undertaken and God Drug by Stephen L. Antczak

Author Stephen L. Antczak has been kind enough to send me copies of both is short story compilation Daydreams Undertaken and his novel God Drug for review.

Daydreams Undertaken

Given how busy my life is right now, its going to take me some time before I can finish both books and write a proper review for them. In the mean time though I wanted to take a moment to make people aware of these books. From just a quick skim of Daydreams Undertaken, I’m looking forward to reading both books.

God Drug

I was originally going to write a little summary of the books to give people a feel for the sort of stories that Stephen writes, but honestly I can’t find a short way to summarize that. I could say that he writes science fiction because he does except then you’d be thinking space opera or cyberpunk or hard sf and thats not really what he does. I could say he writes fantasy because some of these stories definitely qualify as fantasy but again you’ll be thinking Tolkien or something and thats not really what Stephen writes. The sheer variety of material in Daydreams Undertaken is impressive in itself.

Best I think to wait until I’ve had a chance to read it properly and then write a review. In the mean time, you might want to follow the links to Amazon and read more about his work for yourself.
