Dina Meyer Talks About Point Pleasant
Actress Dina Meyer spoke to Sci Fi Wire about the TV series Point Pleasant which will air on Fox. Meyer who has appeared in a number genre pieces including Star Ship Troopers, Birds of Prey and Star Trek: Nemesis plays Amber Hargrove, a troublemaking single mother. Her daughter in the series is the girlfriend of Jesse who is the young man who rescues Christina who washes up on the shore of Point Pleasant and turns out to be the devil’s daughter.
Do I need to mention that this series has some soap opera elements to it?
Meyer’s character is pursuing Dr. Ben Kramer, who is married and who has welcomed Christina into his home.
Okay, lots of soap opera elements.
Point Pleasant debuts on Fox January 19th.
