Doctor Who Interviews
SFCrowsnest has scored three interviews of great interest to all Doctor Who fans and anyone else curious about the brand new Doctor Who series that airs in the UK starting March 26th.
First up is an interview with Russell T. Davies, the lead writer of the new series of Doctor Who. Davies is a life long Doctor Who fan who was well known for slipping references to the series into his other TV work.
Then there’s an interview with Christopher Eccleston who plays this latest incarnation of the Doctor. Many people were surprised by the choice of Eccleston as the new Doctor given the sort of roles we have seen him in previously. Interestingly it seems that Eccleston actually approached Davies about playing the part.
And to wrap up the Who interviews they have an interview with Billie Piper who plays Rose, the Doctor’s new assistant. Billie was best known for her career as a pop singer in the UK, but had branched out into acting with some acclaim. She has lately said she plans to focus exclusively on the acting.
