Doom Trailer Now Online
The trailer for the movie version of Doom which was premiered at ComicCon is now available via IGN.com for you to download and watch. Its just a teaser trailer and its only about 1 minute long but its the first chance most of us have had to get a flavor of what the Doom movie might be like.
Having watched it I’m pretty neutral about this one right now. It looked competent enough for an action movie. The look of it is certainly similar to the look of the Doom computer games and there’s clearly going to be plenty of guns and action which is fine with me.
But the teaser at least made no real effort to give us a coherent plot and really didn’t feature any characters enough for as to get a feel for how they might be. We’ll see, there’s nothing wrong with a good action movie and this could be just that.
