E-Books… the return

I can’t say that there’s been any big turn around in the e-book market since the last time I posted my opinions on it, but I find my own personal preferences have changed somewhat.

Since I got my Sony Clie with its higher resolution screen I find I’m enjoying ebook reading much more. The better resolution allows me to get much more text on the screen and also just make the text easier on the eyes to look at.

On top of that, having found two ebook readers that I’m comfortable with (Mobipocket and Palm Reader) and able to customize to my satisfaction I’m finding a growing range of books to read.

Fictionwise.com offers an excellent range of books and short stories in such a wide variety of formats that I’ve now actually got to the point of buying ebook editions of books I already have just so I have them available to me on the Clie.

So count me as a full on convert to ebooks. But then again, I own an HD Tv, Tivo, 2 Laptops and 2 desktops… so perhaps I’m not the average consumer. ;)
