Famke Janssen Signs Up for X-Men 3
Famke Janssen will reprise her role as Dr Jean Grey for the third X-Men movie according to Variety. Janssen has signed a deal to return for X-Men 3 which will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. Janssen’s character, a psychic mutant, seemed to die at the end of X2 and there have been rumors ever since that the third movie would talk the legendary “Dark Phoenix” storyline from the original comics.
Actor Hugh Jackman has already signed to return in the role of Wolverine and Halle Berry, Ian McKellen and Patrick Steward are all expected to return to their roles as Storm, Magneto and Professor X for the third film, which is set to shoot this summer with a planned release date of May 26, 2006
