Fanboys Forever
Now first let me say that O My Fanboy Rampage is a very interesting site created by someone who clearly knows not to take himself or his interests to seriously (note to self, learn something).
However the recent entry The “Pulse continues to be where bullshit press releases aren’t tolerated.”, the link it leads to and the comments on it are another perfect illustration of why I can’t go to a comics forum without wanting to tear my hair out and shoot everyone involved.
Does every discussion have to degenerate into name calling, hatred of people that we’ve even had any direct communication with and the absurd belief that we are so special that we know far better than the companies do how best to make money.
I mean really, if we’re going to pretend to be experts (and we are pretending) perhaps we should act like experts do. You know, calm, rational, thoughtful, sane.
