First Picture of Superman Suit
Warner Brothers have released a picture of Brandon Routh in his Superman costume for director Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns film which is currently shooting in Australia. The new superman costume, is heavily based on the classic Superman look but with a darker red color.
There are some minor variations from the classic superman design. For example the S insignia is smaller and higher on Superman’s chest, also its not painted on but a three dimensional design. The same insignia is now featured on Superman’s belt buckle.
Looking at the picture, I’m actually reminded of the sort of suits that many top swimmers wear these days. That does seem like an appropriate style of suit for Superman to wear.
