Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD Release Date and Box Office Takings
While Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has only just been released on movie theaters in the US but already there are rumors circulating about the DVD release date. VideoETA.com is listing April 4th 2006 as the Goblet of Fire DVD release date.
While that timeframe seems reasonable (DVDs are being released sooner and sooner lately and 5 months after the movies release is not uncommon, WB has not officially announced a release date for the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD which will apparently feature an extra 15 minutes cut from the theatrical release as well as a directors commentary track.
As far as the movie release goes, Goblet of Fire has garnered an impressive $102.3 million in box office in just three days of release. If that wasn’t good enough it earned $39.76 million on Friday which is the highest single day take of all time.
When you add in the $80million that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has made internationally over the weekend and the movie is already approaching the $200 million mark.

I love harry potter i always have each time the movies just seem to get
better and better each time.So far the Goblet of Fire is my favorite because
there is a lot of action into it and voldemort comes back and we get to
see him.It was really cool with the underwater scene and the merpeople
because i read the book and i had to imagine what it was like i thought
it was gonna be some real people swimming around and they would computer
animate the tails.I kinda thought of the Little Mermaid i thought it was
gonna be like that anyway hehe.I liked the scene where harry’s in the
bathroom and he puts the egg underwater the song was pretty to me i didnt
know what it ment but at the same time i kinda did i think it was “come to
us where are voices sound we can not sing above the ground an hour long
you’ll have to loose to think of what we took” but what i dont understand is
what did they take what happened in their lives to make them take something
all of it is just a mystery.I have read that dumbledore……oops cant say
anything for the people who havent read any of the books yet haha.OMG i
loved the yule ball that was so pretty i really liked the fast song “Do
the hippogriff” i have the soundtrack so i listen to it everyday i know
basicly all of the lines because i saw the movie twice and i can remember
the part where harry’s on tom riddles bones or grave and voldemort is
talking to him ill repeat it because i have it in my head now “the boy who
lived how lies have affected you so shall i tell you what really happened
that night harry how i lost all my power”.Obviously you can see im obsessed
with harry potter anyway this is a long comment so harry potter fans
read the books they are way better i guess they give more detail.

I really hope there will be 15 minutes of extra film.. I have always wanted a feature like that on the DVD’s, so IMO it was about time!! I always feel that the HP films could stand to be longer.. Most of us have been through all of the Lord of The Rings films and they were longer.. If we could take that, who’s to say we can’t take a longer HP flick too???.. anywho.. I am soo looking forward to owning this film on DVD.. I have allready been the the cinema and seen it 3 times, with many more to come..
