Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Print Run 10.8 Million
Scholastic, the US publisher of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series will print an initial run of 10.8 million copies of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Thats the highest initial print run in history and a huge 4 million more than the initial print run for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2003.
If any book can justify such a huge print run then its a Harry Potter book. While the media hype about Harry Potter may have peaked, the popularity of the books and films remains as high as ever.
Scholastic will also be kicking off its marketing for the new book in April with the 100 Day Countdown for Harry.
