Hugo Weaving Joins V For Vendetta Cast
Actor Hugo Weaving how is best known for his role in the Matrix movies will be starring opposite Natalie Portman in V For Vendetta according to Variety. Weaving will play the title character V in the movie which is based on a graphic novel by Alan Moore.
Weaving replaces James Purefoy who has left the production for undisclosed reasons. Other cast members include Stephen Rea and Stephen Fry. V for Vendetta will be directed by James McTeigue from a screenplay by Andy and Larry Wachowski.
V is currently under production in Berlin and scheduled for a November 4th release by Warner Brothers.
