I Am Legend 6 Month Film Shoot Set
The movie adaptation of I Am Legend staring Will Smith will begin principle photography on September 23rd 2006 in New York City and continue filming until March 31st 2007. Thats about 6 months of filming if anyone is counting.
I Am Legend, an adaptation of the 1954 Richard Matheson novel of the same name is being directed by Francis Lawrence.
The movie centers on the only healthy survivor of a biological war. Robert Neville is in fact the last livign man on Earth. Everyone else has been turned into a form of Vampire and they are all eager for Neville’s blood.
The movie is set for a November 21st 2007 release date and is the third film adaptation of Richard Matheson’s novel although it seems this will be the most faithful attempt at bringing the book to film.
I’m no expert on movie production, but a 6 month shoot since very long. I have to assume that they’re planning on making this thing look pretty impressive.
