Interview with Star Trek XI Writer
SyFy Portal has an interesting interview with writer Erik Jendresen who is working on Star Trek XI, or whatever they end up calling it. I like what he has to say, though we’ll have to see if he can live up to it.
Certainly it’s encouraging that they’ve gone to an “outsider” for this script. Jendresen apparently didn’t know that much about Trek prior to this job. I suppose some fans might get upset that someone who doesn’t know Trek is working on it. But lets face it, the people who have been writing Trek for the last few years haven’t really been doing that good a job and they new all the irrelevant details.
So Erik Jendresen talks a good game. Even if he can’t decide when this story is set.
