J. Michael Straczynski To Write Fantastic Four
J. Michael Straczynski, best known as the mind behind science fiction series Babylon 5 is going to take over writing Marvel Comics Fantastic Four comicbook. Straczyniski who has had a succesful run on Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-man is looking forward to writing for the Fantastic Four and has very specific plans for them.
His first story will deal with the government’s efforts to remove the children of Reed and Susan Richards because of their dangerous household. The story begins in issue number 527 which will be out this month.
Straczynski says he is keen to mix the cosmic and family elements as he believes it is this combination which makes Fantastic Four special. He also noted that he is “tending the farm. My job is to not break anything. It’s not my character. It’s not my universe.”
