Librarian Sequel on TNT
TNT has announced that it is developing a sequel to The Librarian: Quest for the Spear, an original tele-movie which it broadcast in 2004. The Librarian earned good ratings for TNT when it aired last December and was obviously written with the possibility of future films or a series in mind. Noah Wyle will return in the sequel as The Librarian.
The new movie is currently scheduled to air on TNT in fall 2005.
I watched the original tele-movie and found it harmless entertainment. Its not going to win any awards for originality (or anything else for that matter) but I can see myself tuning in for the sequel. Noah Wyle makes for an engaging hero and I’ve always enjoyed Indiana Jones style films anyway.
