M. Night Shyamalan’s Lady In The Water
M. Night Shyamalan has a new film in the works. Lady in the Water centers on a building super who finds a sea nymph in his apartment building’s pool. The script was written by Shyamalan who will produce and direct for Warner Brothers.
Shyamalan’s previous films, Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs and The Village were all produced by Disney. Production will begin in August on location in Philadelphia (where else?) for a release in July 2006.
I’m a huge fan of M. Night Shyamalan, even his less successful efforts like The Village are worth watching in my view, so I’ll be following this one closely. I haven’t heard any casting details yet, but if production begins in August it shouldn’t be too long before we hear some news.

Bryce Dallas Howard is the sea nymph and Paul Giamatti is the building superintendent. I’m looking forward to this film as well. I hope he makes the Life of Pi after this film but I hear someone else will be doing that.
