New Direction For Stargate SG-1 Season 9

Stargate SG-1 Solutions believe they know what the new direction for SG-1's ninth season is. Robert C. Cooper, exectuive producer and writer for Stargate SG-1 had hinted to Sci Fi Wire that there would be a significant new direction for the series complete with new villains and that they would be exploring the origin of the gate builders and ancients. But he had kept quiet about the actual new direction.
Well Stargate SG-1 Solutions is reporting that Season 9 will incorporate elements of Arthurian legend into the Stargate mythology. The season will explore Camelot, Aalon and Excalibur as well as revealing that Merlin was an ancient
Its an interesting concept and certainly fits with the way that Stargate has incorporated various mythologies already be it Egyptian or Atlantean. But is it true? We'll just have to wait and see.
