New podcast: “The Unbelievable Origin of Superspiff and the Toothpick Kid.”
D.K. Thompson, a writer friend of mine, has just launched a new podcast called “The Unbelieveable Origin of Superspiff and the Toothpick Kid.” This is part one of a short story about a superhero called Cyberpunk who is approached by a couple of fanboys at a comic book convention:
Meet Grant and Dominic, two kids who are about to come face-to-face with their favorite comic book superhero. But is Cyberpunk the real deal, or just some pretty-boy poser?

I read this post when it was submitted yesterday and I’m always looking for something new to listen to on my 1 hour commute so I went ahead and downloaded the first episode. It’s only a little over 15 minutes long which makes it perfect to try and out and see if you like.
I have to admit that based on the title I was expecting a certain kind of story and actually it’s something altogether cleverer. Well worth a few minutes of your time.
