New Trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe Online
There’s a new trailer available for the movie adapation of C. S. Lewis classic children’s fantasy The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Regular readers will know that I’ve been looking forward to this film for many months now and eagerly pounce on every little picture so I couldn’t wait to see what the new trailer looked like.
One of the biggest criticisms that has been leveled at The Chronicles of Narnia is that it didn’t seem to have its own look, but rather was a little too heavily influenced by The Lord of the Rings. I think this new trailer goes a long way to silencing that criticism.
Not only does the trailer hit a few of the key scenes that readers of the book will remember fondly, we also get a good look at Aslan and from the look of those scenes, he is a truly stunning creation. More importantly though I think is that this trailer focuses more on the unique aspect of Lewis books rather than the standard “fantasy battle sequence” elements.
