Peter Jackson’s King Kong Trailer Online
The full length trailer for Peter Jackson’s remake of King Kong is now available on line in Apple’s QuickTime format and it’s well worth watching. The movie is Jackson’s first work after completing The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and has been highly anticipated.
With a three hour running time and featuring Naomi Watts, Adrien Brody, Jack Black, Andy Serkis, Colin Hanks and Jamie Bell, this movie has a lot to live up to. It retells the classic story (filmed twice before) of a giant ape which is captured and brought to civilization where it runs wild. The screenplay for the film was written by Peter Jackson, in collaboration with his Oscar winning partner Fran Walsh and Lord of the Rings co-writer Philippa Boyens.
As with The Lord of the Rings, the visual effects work was done by Weta Digital. King Kong will be released in theaters on December 14th.
The trailer for King Kong is definitely worth watching. I watched the full screen version as was really impressed by the look of this new version of King Kong. If you liked the visuals from Jackson’s Lord of the Rings films, you’ll enjoy the look of this film too. And Kong himself is an amazing creation.
