Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest Pictures and Trailer
A pirated copy of the first trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is doing the rounds. I’ve added a link below, but who knows how long it will continue to work. This copy of the trailer is quite clearly pirated and is in a pretty rough state. But it’s good enough quality to get a feel for what is coming.
Basically it looks like Pirates of the Caribbean 2 will be more of the same, which considering how much fun Pirates of the Caribbean was is just fine by me. The basic storyline goes something like this:
Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) owes a debt to Davey Jones, captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. Jack, being Jack is trying to find a way out of this debt. If he fails he will be cursed to an afterlife of eternal servitude and damnation. Captain Jack’s problems mess up the wedding plans of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), who soon find themselves embroiled in Jack’s new adventure.
Meanwhile the Dark Horizon’s website have gotten a hold of a couple of on set pictures from the film. The pictures in question appear to show Davey Jones’ ship The Flying Dutchman.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is scheduled for release on July 7th 2006.
