Podiobooks.com To Re-Release Scot Sigler’s Ancestor
Author Scott Sigler sent me an email to let me know that his sci-fi/horror podcast novel ANCESTOR is now available on Podiobooks.com as part of a partnership between PodShow and Podiobooks.com What does this mean for you? Free audiobook!
Scott jumped onto the podcasting bandwagon very early on when he podcast his novel EarthCore (which I reviewed). It was in fact the first podcast only novel having not yet been published. The success of that was such that Scott decided to podcast another of his novels, Ancestor.
Ancestor is a Sci-Fi/Horror novel about a human organ bioengineering experiment that has gone very very wrong. Scott broadcast the audio version as a weekly podcast novel from September 2005 through to January 2006 gathering such a large fanbase that he immediately began work on a sequel called Infection which is currently being exclusively distributed through PodShow.
Podiobooks.com will re-release Ancestor, broadcasting it in weekly installments (just as with the original run) for free as part of its offering of over 50 free podcast novels. Podiobooks.com is also the home of EarthCore, Sigler’s first podcast novel.
