Revelations Premiere Date Set
NBC has announced that its new supernatural drama Revelations will premiere on April 13th 9pm. This six part series presents an end of the world scenario based on the final conflict between God and the devil. Seems like a touchy subject for network tv.
The series, by executive producer Gavin Polone and executive producer/writer David Seltzer stars Bill Pullman as a Harvard astrophysicist whose daughter is murdered by satanists and Natascha McElhone as a nun who recruits him to determine if the end of the world is at hand. Okay, now they’re mixing religion and science, I’m getting a bad feeling about this.
Okay, I guess they could be going for an X-File vibe with the characters, but I don’t know. Any time you throw in religion you’re treading on very thin ice. The writing is going to have to be spot on to make this one work.
