The Firefly revival continues as the Sci Fi Channel has announced it will air all 14 hours of the canceled SF series, including the three episodes that Fox never aired. Firefly will air on Fridays at 7pm starting Jully 22nd as part of the Sci Fi Fridays schedule.
Sci Fi plans to air the episodes of Firefly in the correct order, starting with the pilot written by Joss Whendon (who helmed the series). The Sci Fi Channel just happens to be owned by NBC Universal and Universal Pictures will be releasing Serenity, a theatrical film based on Firefly on September 30th.
