Sci Fi Channel To Show Night Stalker

Good news for fans of the series Night Stalker who were left hanging when ABC abruptly canceled the series after broadcasting the first of a two part story. The Sci Fi Channel has announced that they will be airing all the produced episodes of Night Stalker.

That includes three episodes that were never broadcast by ABC. Sci Fi Channel will air all 10 episodes of the series in summer 2006.

Night Stalker was a loose remake of the 1974 series Kolchak: The Night Stalker. The show was executive produced by Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files) and starred Stuart Townsend, Gabrielle Union, Eric Jungmann and Cotter Smith.

The central character of Night Stalker is Kolchak, a crime reporter whose wife was killed mysteriously 19 months ago. Kolchak is the primary suspect for her death. In his efforts to discover the truth behind her murder, Kolchak investigates other crimes that appear to have a supernatural element.

Eoghann Irving is amongst other things the creator and Editor of Solar Flare. He has a life long interest in all forms of science fiction and fantasy and a pressing need to share this interest with anyone who will listen. Find out more at his personal website eoghann.com..
