The DVD of Serenity, Joss Whedon’s movie sequel to his short-lived series Firefly will be released on December 20th 2005. Thats only 3 months after the movie came out in theaters. Serenity will have a recommended retail price of $29.98

Serenity stars Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk and was directed by Joss Whedon. The movie will be offered in 2.35:1 anamporphic widescreen with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks.
Serenity Synopsis

This movie was fantastic! I had not heard of the short-lived series until this summer (2005); I watched the series, and the work of this
director is incredible. Although the movie complemented the series fabulously, views should be aware that watching the Firefly series
first is not a prequesite; this movie can be thoroughly enjoyed without ever watching the series.
