Serenity Trailer Online
The trailer for Joss Whedon’s upcoming Firefly film Serenity is now online. I’ve just finished watching it and I’ve got to admit I’m impressed. I’ve mentioned before that I wasn’t that big a fan of Firefly, it never really grabbed me… but this got my attention.
If the trailer in fact reflects the film, we can expect both stunning special effects and plenty of action. Those of you who were fans of the tv series can also expect to see your favorite characters acting just like they did in that tv series. It was interesting to note that the trailer sells the film heavily on Joss Whedon’s name, so its clear what market he is going after.
I’ve got to say that I was really wowed by the special effects. They managed to be simultaneously beautiful while retaining that gritty realism feel that the series always had to it.
