ShoWest - Lady in the Water 10 Minute Clip Report
Over at World of Kj they have a very detailed report on the 10 minute clip from M. Night Shyamalan’s next movie Lady in the Water which was shown at ShoWest recently. Apparently the clip is not a trailer in the usual sense, it’s not a compilation of exciting scenes, instead it’s a single 10 minute sequence taken from early in the movie.
From the description of the sequence it looks like we can expect the usual distinctive photography and moments of high tension that are familiar from Shyamalan’s previous movies. Before the clip was shown apparently M Night told the audience that his inspiration for this movie came when he was telling his own kids a bedtime st
Shyamalan describes it as the story of a grown man rediscovering his childhood and some weird things start happening around him. I’ve enjoyed each of M Night’s movies so far, but his last one was let down by a weak twist ending so let’s hope this one is stronger.
