Sin City TV Series In The Works
There’s not much details available on this so far, but it seems that not only are there plans underway for a sequel to the movie Sin City (based on the graphic novels by Frank Miller), but now there are also some plans to turn Sin City into a TV series.
Weinstein Co. the new company of Bob and Harvey Weinstein (formerly of Miramax) is in talks with Barbara Schneeweis to develop a show based on the Robert Rodriguez movie Sin City according to a report in Variety. Schneeweis used to work for the Weinsteins as a tv executive at Miramax.
Obviously its in the very early stages, but the plan would be to have the Sin City TV series launch some time after Sin City 2 which is scheduled for 2006. I’m not clear what, if any, participation Frank Miller will have in the TV series. Miller was a co-director for the Sin City film.
