Smallville Season 5 News
News is surfacing about what’s planned for Season 5 of Smallville on the WB. The biggest news was the recent announcement that James Marsters will appear in several episodes as Brainiac. Apparently the plan is to have Marsters in 7 episodes but there is an option for further episodes.
Actor Tom Wopat who co-starred with John Schneider in The Dukes of Hazard will be appearing in episode 6. We’ll also get to see the Smallville version of Aquaman in episode 4. There are no plans to bring back The Flash this season, but they are still open to using him in the future. There is the possibility of another DC superhero turning up apparently but no hint as to who it might be yet.
Also Erica Durance will be featured in the opening credits of season 5 as Lois Lane so we can expect her to play heavily in the show this year.
Just in case you were concerned, season 5 is not planned as the final season, they are already planning for a season 6 and there may be a season 7 if ratings hold up.

another smallville fan from the philippines here. due to my unpredictable skeds and activities, i couldn’t follow it on primetime tv. but i’m through with seasons 1-4, via dvd. what can i say? whoa! what a series! can’t wait to see season 5 with aquaman and brainiac guesting. though smallville is different from the comic books storyline, the movies and the other tv series, it appeals to the NOW generation. it’s so hip with the different music/songs in every episode. does someone has a complete list of the smallville soundtrack?

can’t wait until the 5th season comes out on DVD!!! I hope there
are many more seasons to come because it rocks!!! I love Smallville

a lot of new seasons to make cause i need to see more.
I have all the episodes on dvd and am really want to see the new episodes.

i think that smallville is the best thing that is on TV or anything els. I have all the seasons
and i can’t stop witching them. I wish season 5 was out that way i would have something els to
witch. I noticed that im not the only one. and i think that it sucks that in seanson 5
jonathan kent dies because of something that Clark did. I think my faveret on is in season for
with the flower and lana. SO don’t stop making them so people like me will have something to
witch and if u could make them a little faster thank you.
