Smallville Season 5 Spoilers
TV Guide Online has a few minor spoilers for what’s coming up in Season 5 of Smallville. They also note that the series has made some significant ratings gains this season. Smallville is once again the WB’s most watched show. They don’t give exact figures but talk about triple-digit gains over WB’s ratings last fall on Thursday nights.
They then go on to give some minor spoilers for what you’ll be seeing on Smallville during sweeps month. I don’t think these are likely to ruin most people’s viewing enjoyment, but if you like to stay completely unspoiled, don’t read below.

Tensions between Clark and Braniac will grow and culminate in an explosive fight. Lois Lane will go undercover to investigate the murder of a young girl. Her cover? A stripper. Martha Kent will contract a mysterious disease which hails from the planet Krypton and will have only hours to live. Finally Clark will be exposed to Silver Kryptonite and apparently it will be make him extremely paranoid.
