Star Trek: Hidden Frontier Releases Sixth Season Finale
Fan film series Star Trek: Hidden Frontier has released the finale to its sixth season, the 42nd episode of the series. The episode, titled “Her Battle Lanterns Lit” is only the second episode to be released in high resolution.
The story for this episode has the Federation, and its allies the Klingons, Cardassians and Romulans assaulting the Tholian headquarters near the center of the Briar Patch. During the episode a new starship and captain are introduced. The Hidden Frontier series is set during the Next Generation era aboard the Excelsior and Deep Space 12.
The episode is being made available in QuickTime format via BitTorrent at a resolution of 640 x 360 or 320 x 180. It can also be downloaded in MPEG-4 format suitable for viewing on the PSP or iPod.
