Star Wars TV Series News
A little bit of information has leaked out about the Star Wars tv series that is being developed. Aint It Cool News, reports on a press conference in which Rick McCallum, who co-produced Star Wars the Revenge of the Sith let slip a few details on the proposed tv series.
According to McCallum the Star Wars tv series will be set during the 20 year gap between Episode 3 and Episode 4. It will apparently depict how characters end up being together (I’m assuming they’re referring to Han and Chewie here) and it will depict how Luke grows up. McCallum also indicated that production will start next year and that it will be about 100 hours long. That’s pretty much a 5 year run then.
I can’t be the only one who thinks this is a really bad idea. For a start they’re strip-mining a tiny area of the Star Wars universe instead of looking to creating some fresh characters, even worse the setup doesn’t sound like it’s exactly going to be action packed like we’d expect Star Wars to be.
I have a bad feeling about this.

Yeah, I wish they would quit with the prequel stuff already. I bet he’s only doing that due to the success of Firefly.
I told you, Firefly is practically The Adventures of Han Solo.
