Stargate SG-1: Reckoning, Part 2 - A Review

Stargate SG-1: Reckoning, Part 2 did a surprisingly good job of following up on all the cliffhangers that Reckoning, Part 1. While they obviously couldn’t off all the villains they’d line up for this story they did apparently take care of at least one. They also appear to have left the door open to finally take care of Anubis once and for all (maybe).

There was also a feeling of real progress in the story of the Jaffa rebellion, which has been going on for years without any significant change. Throw in the possibility of Daniel being dead or ascended (again) and there was plenty of interest in this episode.

In fact this definitely had the feeling of an end of season episode. Where they close enough storylines to make it look like the whole series could end but also leave themselves enough loopholes and new directions that they can do whatever they like next season.

But it isn’t the end of the season. There’s I think three more episodes to go. Very curious indeed. Still that shouldn’t detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable episode.
