Superman Returns Video Journal #20
There’s a new video production journal for the new Superman movie Superman Returns which is directed by Bryan Singer. This latest video journal looks at the pre-visualisation process. For those not familiar, this is basically when the director blocks out the entire movie using sophisticated 3D animation software so that every camera angle and shot can be mapped out. This process saves action moves a lot of money.
Its an interesting technique, and I’d be quite curious to see how closely the final film follows the pre-vis. There are a number of pre-vis scenes shown from Superman Returns and they look to be very stylish. If nothing else I think we’re set for some impressive flight sequences in this Superman film.
You’ll believe a man can fly? Maybe.
