Casting news continues to emerge for the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica. Two new names have been added to the cast with actress Alessandra Torresani cast to play Zoe Graystone and actor Eric Stoltz taking on the role of family patriarch Daniel Graystone.

Two cast members have been announced so far for Caprica, the Sci Fi Channel’s two hour prequel to Battlestar Galactica. The channel have indicated that Caprica is a “backdoor pilot” which raises the possibility that it could turn into a full series if the ratings are good.
Caprica is set some 50-70 years before the events of Battlestar Galactica and has been described as “televisions first science fiction family saga”.
