The DVD release for Batman Begins, the latest Batman movie is set for October 18th. I still don’t have many details about DVD extras etc. but I do have some general information about the DVD release. Of particular interest I think is that there will not only be a regular DVD release but also a 2 disc deluxe DVD edition as well.

The producers of the recent movie The Island, which starred Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson are being sued by the producers of Parts: The Clonus Horror, a 1970s sci-fi movie. Myrl A. Schreibman and Robert S. Fiveson who made The Clonus Horror in 1979 claim that there is a resemblance between their film and The Island.

Several actors have now been cast for the movie adaptation of the fantasy novel Eragon by Christopher Paolini.
