IGN.com is reporting that the role of Kitty Pryde in the third X-Men movie has been cast and will be played by Ellen Page, an 18 year old actress with credits that include Hard Candy and Trailer Park Boys.

IGN also has a picture of the actress at the end of the article. She certainly looks the part if nothing else.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will be released on DVD on the 1st of November. The release will be a two disc set which includes Revenge of the Sith itself alongside a making-of documentary, featurettes on the movies’s stunts and on Anakin Skywalker.
