The BBC has released some audience research from the first season of their new Doctor Who series and its pretty good news all round for them. The average ratings for Doctor Who were an impressive 8.2 million and a 40% audience share. Figures like that are rare for any channel these days.

About.com has a whole gallery of pictures from Battlestar Galactica and it’s already updated that gallery with some photos from the first episode of season two. The title of the first epsiode is scattered, and looking at these photos, it seems that it takes up pretty much exactly where season one left off.

A rumor has surfaced that the voice of Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia, the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe movie will be Liam Neeson. Brian Cox was originally to be the voice of Aslan but some months back that seemed to change and he has never recorded any dialogue for the role.

Well there was indeed a test screening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Chicago this weekend and as I predicted reviews are leaking out from it already. Aint It Cool news has several reviews posted.
Keep in mind that the version of Goblet of Fire which people so was very incomplete. It would be lacking many of the special effects and probably some of the music and sound…

Despite largely negative reviews and a series of trailers that have been met with derision online, Fantastic Four managed to pull in a respectable $56 million during its first three days, making it number one at the box office for the July 8th weekend.
This is above the projections for the film where were for less than $40 million. And marked the end of a recent box office trend with revenues…
